After many many months of hard toil the cattery is now complete, well till we decide to change things. All the wood used is tanalised timber for the cattery framing and galvanised wire mesh.  The roof of the cattery is 2cm double insulated roofing panels along with wire mesh on the underside of the panels for the protection of the cats, to stop anything getting in or them getting out should any of the panels ever become loose.

The cattery quarters are of the highest standard, fully insulated walls lined to a depth of 20mm with fibre glass wrapped in aluminium casing to protect from the wet & to give good  insulation, then covered with vinyl wall boarding to enhance cleanliness All the cattery quarters are fitted with double sockets  and  2000 watt heaters & overhead lighting.All doors are stable doors to allow cool air for the summer along with air vents to all doors for all round ventilation.

All the beds have heated pads for extra warmth, along with ladders to the beds from ground level.

 

 The cattery quarters are fitted with a full alarm system to all doors  and  this is connected directly to the house, there is also a fully integrated radio system within all the cattery quarters playing soft music 24 hours a day.
